Libero Bethany Wright, who was first team All-GSC in 2008, was selected to the second team by Daktronics. West Alabama Downs Montevallo In First Ever GSC "Match Of The Week"

West Alabama picked up its first conference win Tuesday night, defeating Montevallo 3-1 in the first ever GSC volleyball "Match of the Week". This road victory moves West Alabama to 12-0 on the season and 1-0 in the GSC, the only unblemished team in the league. Montevallo falls to 3-11 on the year, and 0-1 in league action.
