UWG women's tennis returns for the 2010-11 season

West Georgia announced the return of women's tennis after a nine-year absence.

UWG restarts what was a successful program which dates back to the 1970s and began competing in the GSC in 1983-84.  The university haulted women's tennis after a succesful 2001 campiagn where the team advance to the NCAA Regional Tournament.  West Georgia also claimed the 1991 GSC Title.  The University's official releas is attached.
