| UNA is No. 1, ATU is No. 6 |
The Gulf South Conference's chances of advancing two teams to the NCAA Football Playoffs improved this week.
North Alabama held on to the top spot in the Super Regional Two rankings after claiming sole possession of the league Title this past Saturday. Arkansas Tech continued its rise up the Top 10, moving up two positions to No. 6 after hosting a victory over Delta State. The top six regionally ranked teams advance to the 24-team NCAA Playoffs, so ATU needs a victory at Harding this weekend to boast its chances.
