| GSC places four on All-America Team |
The GSC made its presence felt on this year's GCAA PING All-Region and All-America Teams.
The Conference placed seven players on the 18-member All-South Region squad and followed with four standouts on the All-America team.
Four different schools claimed region honors led by league and region champion North Alabama's trio of Jake Greer, Brett Munson and Wes Smith. Rounding out the region accolades was West Florida duo Ryan Black and Kyle Scott, Valdosta State's Brent Witcher and Arkansas Tech's Jarred Carlyle. Witcher was tabbed the DII yesterday, while Carlyle finished first at the 2009 GSC Tournament.
Witcher, the GSC Player of the Year, led the way on the All-America Team posting his second consecutive First Team honor. Munson and Scott made the Second Team, while Greer was placed on the Honorable Mention list.
