Birmingham, Ala.-GSC Commissioner Nate Salant announced the final version of the 2009 GSC-TV LIVE Football Game of the Week schedule. 

The fifth edition of the Game of the Week slate includes eight Thursday night telecasts and begins on September 3rd when Harding goes to West Alabama in a non-conference battle.  All eight games kick off at 7:00 pm local time.  West Georgia's two home televised contests (October 8th and 29th) will start at 7:00 pm Eastern Time, but the broadcast of each game will be tape-delayed and will be aired starting at 8:00 pm Eastern.

Comcast/Charter Sport Southeast (CSS) continues as the primary carrier, bringing more than 5,000,000 potential households, while CoxSports adds its 1,700,000 to the mix for the third consecutive season. The league will also make the broadcasts available to other cable systems including MediaCom which serves South Georgia, Southwest Alabama and the Florida Panhandle and the newly added BrightHouse system in the Birmingham, Alabama area. At least two open-air channels in non-conflicting areas are also part of the network (WHCQ in the Delta region of Mississippi and TV-6 in Searcy, Arkansas). GSC-TV Games of the Week will not be available on DirectTV or DishNetwork.

Color commentator Don Russell and play-by-play commentator Jessie Branch along with sideline reporter Jim Cavale return to broadcast all eight games.  A copy of the updated schedule is provided below.  A&M Productions, L.L.C. returns handles the production for the third year in a row.
